About WeAdapt products


The proposals "wea" and “Haute Couture” of WeAdapt aim at allying comfort, functionality and aesthetics. Initially, the collections will be directed to users of wheelchairs, although other special needs will be considered in a near future.

 

These collections will have everlasting elements, i.e., they will be made by a set of pieces updated according to present fashion trends and classic pieces that, in general, will perpetuate themselves through the various collections. They also contemplate the development of Made-to-Measure clothing, capitalizing the knowledge gained with the development of ready-to-wear collections.

 

The pieces display templates specially adapted to the reality of the targeted market, resulting from a deep investigation in ergonomics, respecting the seating position and freedom of movements.

 

Considering specific needs in terms of comfort, functional chemical workmanship is also used, namely: softner,  anti-odor and anti-bacterial.

 

Several solutions will also be proposed regarding special materials that ease the task of dressing/undressing, contributing to a bigger user autonomy. Always valuing the comfort and the aesthetics, these innovating materials can be extremely thin and undetectable velcros, strategically placed zippers (to be invisible), back pockets laser  engraved and the replacement of traditional seams for collage and/or fusion of parts to join.
